Cottingley Fairies Questions

What do you make of those Cottingley Fairies?
Not too sure what you are asking here. The Story about those ‘fairies’ started way back in 1917 and it fooled loads of people including Sir Arthur Conan-Doyle the eminent author. Two young girls had either drawn some pictures of fairies or taken photo’s from a book and stuck them on card and placed them around their garden. They took photo’s of themselves with the ‘fairies’ and they were publishes in the papers. For some unknown reason thousands of people were taken in by the stunt and were made to look pretty stupid when the truth finally came out.
