I am having my Daughter’s first birthday party on Saturday, and have decided on a fairy theme as her favorite book is the enchanted woods.
Instead of buying an already decorated cake i thought i would attempt to decorate a cake myself – unfortunately i am not very good with cakes as i don’t have any experience!
The decorations i bought were:

those hard little silver balls
Does anyone have any ideas on how i could create some kind of nice looking cake with this stuff? i dont have fondant as i have heard it is difficult to use for first timer cake decorators so will be making my own icing (hot pink). Any creative genius would be very much appreciated!
