Fairy School Questions

Fairy School
Do you consider the tooth fairy a good or bad thing?

I’m doing a report for school on the tooth fairy. I need to know whether or not people believe that the tooth fairy is a good thing to teach children. I need an argument for against the tooth fairy and for believing in the tooth fairy. Most detailed answer gets chosen as best answer.
Thanks in advance

I am all for promoting magical beings such as Santa, the Tooth Fairy, and the Easter Bunny. Childhood goes by so quickly, and the more fun and magic we can incorporate into it, the better. These traditions go way back in folklore. The Tooth Fairy originated as a protector against witches.

I read that parents used to bury thchildren’srens’ teeth (and anything else with DNA) so that witches couldn’t get hold of them and use them in spells. The Tooth Fairy came about as a way for the teeth to be safeguarded. I think it does promote the imagination also. Just like in the movie, Miracle on 34th Street…children who are jaded at such a young age grow up to be cynical adults. Where is the fun?

It’s also a way for parents to show love for their children and empathize with the ordeal of losing a tooth (which even if it comes out naturally and isn’t pulled by a dentist is still icky). Remember how it feels to have that really wiggly tooth hanging by a thread of gum and maybe accidentally crunching it when you eat? Ugh! A little monetary compensation for that isn’t much to ask.

Fundraising for Schools

Computers, audio-visual equipment, band instruments, sensory development stations, gym equipment, extra-curricular activities all cost money. Most cost a lot of money for even one individual piece of equipment. With the increase of technology and information, there is a greater expense required with providing education for children in the modern school system. As government spending and financial stressors make it more and more difficult to funnel the required funds into the school systems, there is often a need for schools and parent organizations to take matters into their own hands. There are various methods by which to raise much needed funds: silent auctions, pledge drives, and school sponsored sales are among a few of them.

Many school fundraising programs are initiated by outside organizations that use the programs to raise money for themselves and share their profit margin with the school. Why not cut out the middleman and devise your own school fundraising program?

Lyn’s Toy Shop has a wide selection of toys that are available at unbelievably low wholesale prices. You can offer toys that parents can use for Christmas, birthday, or even stocking up on gifts to keep on hand at terrific deals, but with the low, low prices that Lyn’s has, you can also realize an amazing profit to use for your school’s spending project.

There are fun activity toys such as a Build-Your-Own-Periscope kits and pirate toys. There are wooden toys that are sure to be instant favorites such as wooden puppets and wooden racing. Jewelry items such the ever-so-popular friendship bracelets are an amazing bargain or hand painted wooden necklaces. All of these items are available for way less than £1.00! Many are available at a small fraction of that.

Are you already starting to imagine the profit that can be made? There are fun stretchy toys, musical instruments, magic tricks, flying toys, and more. These items can be bought at a low, low price and sold at 100% to 500% profit margin and still be a great value to the end buyer.

Another way that Lyn’s Toy Shop can help you with your fundraising program is by offering you excellent deals on wholesale toys that you can use prize incentives as children reach certain sales goals. For example: If you had children who were collecting money for a walk-a-thon, you could offer prizes at different levels for funds raised. If a child raises £5.00, you could give a friendship bracelet. At the £10.00 mark, the prize would be both the friendship bracelet and a stretchy monkey. At the £15.00 mark, the prize could be a friendship bracelet, a stretchy monkey, and a selection of musical toys. There can be more valuable prize selections for top fundraisers for each class or grade level. Using toys as incentives is an effective motivator for children that would require very little investment while producing huge results.

Browse LynsToyShop.co.uk and allow your creativity and imagination guide you to devising a wise and financially beneficial fund raising programme to meet the rising financial needs of your school. You will be amazed at what great things will be accomplished when you allow Lyn’s Toy Shop to be the foundation of your next smart fundraiser.
